Hallo. I’m Dominic Raze, Contributor number four for WTF Anime Blog. This is my first actual Blog, however I’ve been posting forums for years now. Let’s see… little bit about me. I’m a college student at Collins out in Arizona, taking game design and working part time. I intend to specialize in Character Design (specially voice acting for my characters ^_^) and Story Lines. I love RPGS, I love button mashers… I especially love multi player games and intend to get Brawl and a Wii the moment I can find one…

So. Anime history.

Dunno if you can call it ‘anime’ per say, but my passions for animated television started waaaaaay back in the days of Thundercats, Silverhawks and of course, Transformers. The first Anime I ever saw was Dragon Ball Z, back in Anime club in high school. I was hooked from that moment on. From there I expanded my viewing as best as I could in those days, which was basically Anime Club and what was on TV. From there I liked Sailor Moon (dodges the flaming pandas), fell in love with Miyazaki films after watching Totoro, got heavy into Magic Knight Rayearth, Outlaw Star, and also got my fanboy hands on every bit of Dragon Ball and Dragon Ball Z movies, shows and manga I could find.

My time at UC Davis opened up a whole new world of Anime for me, introducing me to Inuyasha, Yu Yu Hakusho, Trigun (this was before Cartoon Network got thier hands on them), and Violinist of Hamelin. Through the club I also found myself hooked on FLCL, and the super cutesy stuff like Digi Charat. 2nd year of Anime Club in Davis opened me to Naruto, DNAngel, Spiral, Get Backers (Not so much,) Hale Nochi Guu (Very much), and the incredibly cute and bouncey Tenshi Ni Narumon. From there I got into Manga of all sorts and try to keep up to date on whatever Anime series I currently go nerds over Miami for - namely Naruto and Bleach.

I intend to do posts of some of the lesser known Anime, such as Violinist of Hamelin, as well as any others that may come to my, DTZ’s, Ruan’s or Dio Bravo’s minds. For now, I leave with a fond farewell and delve into homework and watching more G Gundam.
